Instructions on use?

Post by 71MGB »

Hi, Never tried using any of the reports before but just downloaded a couple of *.grm files and imported them with the general reports manager and just get "Block not terminated" for both of them, searches on the forum led to a couple of fairly cryptic posts and I can't find anything like basic instructions for using this stuff as I haven't a clue about SQL etc., so any help would be welcome.

OK I tried one from there and it seems to work, next problem is - are there any more reports anywhere?
I was looking for something to help with tax return, I think I have tried every combination possible in MMEX and can't find anything that really works for me, I can get something like with 'transaction report' but it is very tedious as I have to produce something like 40 individual reports then have to go back and forth cross-referencing everything.
I would like something that lists all accounts with everything sorted by date and categories grouped under each account with sub-totals for each category then totals for each account and  everything divided into income and expenditure then running totals etc.

all available reports are here:
https://github.com/moneymanagerex/gener ... s/releases

It's new feature and the collection is small.
I hope folks will help us to expand this.
