Recover MMEX database from damaged phone.

Post by luisdev »

I've been running MMEX on my Samsubg Galaxy S3 phone for a long time. Recently I dropped the phone and broke the LCD, so the phone is now useless. I've replaced it with a Samsung Galaxy S8 phone and I would like to copy my MMEX database from the old S3 phone across to the new S8 phone. How do I do this database migration?

I connected the damaged S3 phone to my PC computer and managed to retrieve the data.mmb and data.mmb-journal files, and a \dropbox folder containing the Personal.mmb, Personal.mmb-journal and Personal_v4.mmb files. I am assuming that these files are my MMEX database files. Is that correct?

How do I get these database files onto my new S8 phone so that I can continue using my MMEX database on the new phone?
