Lost data?

Post by hofpad »

Hello

I downloaded 1.2.3, imported around 100 bookings via CSV, edited them and saved the database encrypted.
Now, a few days later, when I open the database, all bookings seems to be lost.
The changes I made in the categories are still reflected, but the "hard work" with the bookings seems to be lost.
Intersting: (nearly?) everytime I open the database, a new database is created. Like this:

Original-DB-name-sec.emb
Original-DB-name-sec.emb_start_2016-01-08.emb
Original-DB-name-sec.emb_start_2016-01-16.emb
Original-DB-name-sec.emb_start_2016-01-16.emb_start_2016-01-16.emb

Any hints/ideas?

Thanks,
Patrick

The suffix _start_2016-01-08
means that is the copy of original DB saved at mmex startup.
Check the app options to change backup settings.

PS never open a DB file by OS shell. Just start mmex then choose DB file at startup dialog.
