I have around 5,000 items covering Year from 1st Jan 2011 to now,
Is there a method of reducing No of items to delete Year 2011 Items;

Hi, there isn't an automatic way. You can take note of current balance, then delete transaction and add balance in each account options.

I vote for this feature request.
I think it may be provided options to delete all trsnsactions before some year like 2014, 2013, 2012 etc

No delete, but move (hide) in an archive, so we can call back an old year !Nikolay wrote:I vote for this feature request.

in case of need of checking...

Re: Remove Historic Items without disturbing Current Balance
I refer to my previous notes regarding this. Over the last couple of days, I have looked at this problem with my Database. It had around 5500 items which covered 16 Accounts for a period starting early in 2011. It took a few hours to unravel many of the Transfers between the Various Accounts whilst deleting years 2011 and 2012. I have now reduced the number of items to around 3900.
I had to refer back to the "Saved" copy that I made of the Database many times before I arrived at a Final Result.
I had moved from Microsoft Money a few years ago that had an automated System that did this for you.
Perhaps this could be added to a list of Items that could be introduced in the future to even further improve this already brilliant Money Management System.
Thanks & Regards

Re: Remove Historic Items without disturbing Current Balance
technically that would be no problem.
one would have to insert the balance of individual accounts by the desired date in the balance at the beginning.
Subsequently, the bookings could be removed to the desired date.
I would highly pleased if there was this possibility.
Sorry my English is bad, I speak German.
