Re: 1.3.4.rc2-win64 rejected by Avast

Hi Nikolay Thanks for that, I did recall that the only difference between portable and regular was the location of the ini file, it was more a heads up, but later versions have installed without difficulty. How nice to see you're still around, there are many of us out here who still rely on this sma...

1.3.4.rc2-win64 rejected by Avast

Hi Staff I've just downloaded the latest version of MMEX: 1.3.4.rc2-win64, and Avast is preventing it from installing. I can install the win32 version after Avast's usual warning that the file may be unsafe but the win 32 version is the portable version, even though it's not shown to be, so none of ...

Re: Does the latest version include a virus??

Further to the above, I am now getting bombarded with reminders, sometimes two or three a day, to upgrade to the latest version (1.3.3x64) yet if I bother to check, while the version number remains unchanged, the file's creation date is updated and the file size is different. two factors which shoul...

Re: Importing OFX and QFX File Types

Just downloaded and installed v1.3.3 I might have missed something in the setup, but it doesn't look like I can import either OFX or QFX file types - only CSV and QIF. My three credit cards and one of my bank account all use the OFX download transaction format and my other bank account used the QFX...

Does the latest version include a virus??

I got an email yesterday to say the latest version of MMEX has just been released. It's shown as mmex_1.3.3_x64_setup.exe which is odd because I've been running this version since 5/2/18. This latest version has a file size of 7979 KB while my version from 5/2/18 has a file size of 7223 KB. Aware of...

Re: Bank Reconciliation

Also new to Money manager EX, and coming from MS Money. This MMEX has great features, but I am also looking for an easy way to reconcile accounts like in MS Money. Is there an easy way to do it? There is no shortcut to reconciling your statement with MMEX, you've got to get down and dirty and do it...

Re: Split screen

The MMEX window functions the same as all windows and always has done. If you cannot resize the window the only thing I can think of which might be preventing this is that the window is currently maximised because, if it's not, you can drag any side to any position. Further, if you're using a later ...

Re: Latest Development Build for Windows

I appreciate this is an alpha version but: 1.  The files page shows downloads for both portable and non-portable x64 versions but they're identical portable versions.  Not a big issue, I just moved the previous version's *.db3 file into the program's root menu to avoid re-entering all my settings bu...
