In the 'Budget Category Summary' Report, I have some lines for an Automobile Category, but I don't have this in the 'Organize Categories' list.

Not only that, but it's not something I added or deleted. I was happy just using the existing Car category.

It doesn't appear if I expand all the categories.

The other thing with this category is that, in the report, it is listed above and below my Bills section.

Is there a way to remove this category?

I thought I'd try something.

Renamed 'Car' to 'Automobile' in the 'Organise Categories' window, but when I close then reopen, 'Automobile' has disappeared, and 'Car' is back in it's place.

Then I thought - I'll add 'Automobile' as a category, and then delete it, and hopefully that will get rid of this category in the reports.

Tried to do this, but got a "Category with same name exists" error, even though it's not listed anywhere as a category or a sub-category.

Seems that this 'Automobile' category is a bug in Version 1.54 64-bit on Windows 10 (build 19042).

Can you share the database with this issue in please, obviously delete any personal details and transactions. Just interested in the categories.

Please find attached an almost blank file, which still has my categories.

You'll see that 'Automobile' still appears in the "Budget Performance" and "Budget Category Summary".

Originally, I had "Bills" as a category, but I changed that to "Utilities" (just because I preferred that name), and that got that section moved out of 'Automobiles'.

Just as an experiment, just changed Utilities to Bills, and this category has got included in Automobiles again!

Found the issue. Looks as if we are attempting to translate the category name on presentation (which is mapping Automobile to Car in your instance). Done in some instances on the report but not all.

Will raise ticket on Github later and add to v1.5.5 fix list.

Confirmed that in 1.5.4 using the .mmb supplied, the word Automobile is substituted for the category Car in the Budget Performance report and in (parts of) the Budget Category Summary report.

Yep, same conclusion as myself.... Will fix later.

The problem is not new, but apparently not all similar problems were found / corrected.
Since I do not use the budget, I have not noticed.
