When trying to submit (or even preview) a post, I often get error messages saying either:

Your message contains ### characters. The minimum number of characters you need to enter is 444.

or:

Your message contains ### characters. The maximum number of allowed characters is 555.

(With ### being the number of current characters in the post).

Are these posting limits intentional? It seems a very weird way to set up a discussion board.

About minimum chars on the forum, sorry for that.

Only me who is moderate the forum. I have no time to delete about 20 spam messages every day.

It's only one way to protect the forum from spam bots is set limit that spam bot machines can't recognize.
Use space space ..... dot as place holders for post messages.

Can you at least remove the 555 max character limit? I just tried to make a post which was too long, so I decided to split the post into two consecutive posts, but then I discovered that I had to wait 10 minutes between posts (which was just pasting the 2nd half of my original post).

I understand the minimum (that can be handled by legit users by padding) and I understand the forced delay (to stop multiple spam posts), but the max character limit combined with the forced delay really makes things difficult for legit users to post useful messages.

I've catch the setting

"Flood interval:
Number of seconds a user must wait between posting new messages. To enable users to ignore this alter their permissions." = 600 sec

I've decreased it to 10 sec
