MMEX project died ??
I think you have to assume that the MMEX project has died.
that would be very unfortunate for all of us.
In any case, the developers have not been present in the forum for a long time.

Well I guess that the MMEX project is already dead, even the problem with currencies didn't get solved. Altough Gabriele was online yesterday, nor did he mention about a problem, neither did he even post a reply.

Unfortunately I can't spend a lot of time for the project but it should go forward.
We have made great effort and it's open source and in any time may be continued to developed by other developers.
And it need time to replace yahoo API to another one.

Glad to read you're still going forward, Nikolay. Did you maybe consider a crowdfunding campaign for the project or something?
Check out the effectiveness of Decaduro and you'll be impressed.

Re: MMEX project died ??
I come back to this issue.
If I follow the activities in the forum, then I notice, except that there are always Spam contributions, nothing is going on
There are also no new MMEX versions anymore and the developers seem to have fled.
What I feared or wrote 2 years ago has now become a fact, the MMEX Project has died.
Too bad, it was and still is a very good financial software, especially for non-bookkeepers.

I sure hope not. I'm a new user to MoneyManagerEX and have both my desktop and my android device syncing the database. The other open source money managers either don't have that capability or it's a simple upload new entries to the main database.
I think one of the problems is fragmentation. There is this forum, github, and sourceforge. Pretty confusing.

They seem to be active on Github with development checkin of code and I think they use slack more - there is a heck of lot of spam on this forum.Renato wrote:Ithe developers seem to have fled.
Maybe they should shutdown this forum and move completely to slack which has better spam control.

I have taken on the project of removing spam this last week, with help from Lisheng Guan and others. If you come across spam posts I've missed, please report them using the little warning sign button on the top right of each post. Thanks!siowena wrote:there is a heck of lot of spam on this forum.
