Transactions in a different currency

Post by Julian »

In Quicken and most other applications I have used, it is possible to load a foreign currency transaction within an account. For example, my checking account is in GBP. When I travel to the US and purchase a pair of jeans I want to load the dollar value in my checking account as $45. The application will then apply the FX rate and report this value as GBP38 in my checking account.
I have searched help files etc but cannot see if this is possible in MMex.
Please advise how I can do this.
thanks

My opinion is:
It should be two accounts USD and EUR, for example.
Base currency is EUR,
When you buy something is USA that mean you transfer money from EUR account to USD account then spend this USD money to bied item.
