Chromebooks
Will the android app work on a chromebook?
Re: Chromebooks
I was trying to figure that out as well.
Re: Chromebooks
Unfortunately, probably not. From what I understand, a Chromebook is running the Chrome browser and any extensions and "applications" that run inside it.
This would require an HTML version of MMEX, which is completely different platform to Android.
If someone does find a way to do that, I believe there would be a few people willing to hear about it.

Re: Chromebooks
It now looks as though you may be able to run the android moneymanagerex app on Chrome, along with other android apps.
This will depend on your Chromebook (the chip in the Chromebook dictates if the software will run) and the rollout by the Chrome Team. See this link for more details.

Re: Chromebooks
Ken, thanks for the hint. Yesterday I tried the ARC Welder and managed to successfully convert the Android .apk into a Chrome extension. Everything seemed to work fine.
So, to all interested - yes, it looks like Android version of MMEx will run on Chromebooks.
