Dear All,
I first and foremost wish to warmly thank the developpers for their efforts and work behind MMEX, I've used it for my
personal finances for a couple of months now and must admit it's truly
amongst the best cross-platform home-finance software I've used.
This being said, I do encounter some problems with saved bases which creates some issues:
The only way to save my modifications in a database is by saving it using "Save as" (cf. screenshot).
Which means that whenever I make a change to an existing database, I must re-"Save as" the base as a different MMEX save file. This causes the problem that when I open that new version database, I must redefine the attachment file every time and a new MMEX_USER-DATABASE_NAME attachment file has been created as subfolder.
Any solution so I can keep my MMEX user file in one save file ?
Br,
Single save file + attachments folders issue

Hi, MMEX isn't like Word where you have to save every time. It automatically save the database on changes, so you don't need to do anything, simply close MMEX and re-open

I don't understand the problem as well.
Some user reported similar problem when he try to open backup file.
I recommend to move DB to some folder then at mmex start open exectly this file.

I didn't know I could close MMEX without saving and it would save the modifications anyway!
Thanks again!
