Date format

Post by martin.g.g »

I have just loaded windows 10 and I have a date format problem. I have set the date format to DD/MM/YY in the options page as I reside in the UK and this is the correct format for this area and is shown in this format in everything except new entries. in new entries it come up with the American format of MM/DD/YY. however when I enter the date in the American style and save  it does save in the DD/MM/YY format. can any one help with this annoying error.
