Just updated, now can't find index.html

Post by tuffy »

I just updated my MMEX account on my Windows 7 64-bit machine. Hadn't used since Oct. 2015.

Now when I attempt to access my HOME PAGE, I get the following error (note I'm hiding my computers user name since it is my name and replacing with xxx)
can't open file
'C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\MoneyManagerEx_xxx_tmp\index.html' (error 3:
the system cannot find the path specified
I checked the folder and the problem is that folder MoneyManagerEx_xxx_tmp no longer exists.
The file "index.html" is now at location: "C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\MoneyManagerEx_rep\index.html"

How do I fix this?

we need to re-consider the path issues from MMEX and cannot assume it is running by an Admin.

I don't think it's an administrator problem because every users has rights to write into his app data folder also if not administrator. Lots of other software (Dropbox, Chrome..) save files in that folder to allow execution by non-admin user.

Problem is another one, maybe some authorization corruption on thread starter pc.

The folder 'C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\MoneyManagerEx_xxx_tmp' should be created at mmex start.
When mmex closed the folder will be deleted immidiatly.

Cold you start mmex then check if the folder is available?
