Yesterday, I tried to install version 1.3.1 on windows XP, in Spanish language.
The installation was apparently done well, but the program did not work.
I uninstalled it and installed version 1.2.7 again, but an error appeared.
In the end, I restored the system and again version 1.2.7 works.
I would be grateful if you would tell me if version 1.3.1 works on windows XP or requires a more modern operating system.

Yes,
(it seems)  Money Manager EX is not compatible from V.1.3.1  with Windows xp because it lacks a DLL.
api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll
It does not even start installation, just naming the missing DLL. (planned obsolescence I "suppose").
Anybody have a solution ?

Try to install Visual C++ 2015 redistributable (don't know if it can install successfully on XP)

Not only does the Visual C++ 2015 redistributable is installable under win XP without any problem (32 bit, portable) but it is easy and seems to work perfectly with MM-EX.

I downloaded and installed Visual C ++ 2015 and tried again to install version 1.3.1 on Windows XP. NOW WORK WITHOUT PROBLEMS.
