The downloads folder for the new version only appears to contain zip files and what seems to be just the executable program, not an installer.

Yes, that looks like the folder. It contains a zip of the portable version and an exe (both in 32 and 64 bit). The exe however isn't an installer - it appears to be just the program itself without the additional runtime files. Trying to run it simply produces an error about files being missing.

it my mistake, it really just mmex.exe without other files.

I though I was going crazy. I am also looking for the installer version opposed to the portable version.

You could install 1.3.1 then replace program files\moneymanagerex\bin\mmex.exe file with new one.
Or just wait when new installer will be available (I hope this week).

Thanks for the great program.

Just drop the file into the folder where your program is installed.
Make a shortcut and run this file and you have version 1.3.2 working with your database.
