Unable to get MMEX 1.33 or above to reinstall

I have been using MMEX for over a year without any problems, but yesterday my Windows 7 64 bit PC had a power outage and when I recovered the PC, I was not able to start up MMEX. I uninstalled program and used a register cleaner and upon reinstalling MMEX 1.33, the program crashes upon the Languages selection and Windows gives an error message of: "Money Management Software has stopped working." I uninstalled the program again, rebooted my PC and tried the 1.4 alpha versions to no avail. Every time I try to reinstall/install MMEX it crashes upon the language selection. I've tried selecting all languages, only a few and none with the same results. Any ideas in getting me back on track would be super appreciated!
