Is there any way to keep the transaction sort order oldest to newest (newest at bottom) - just like I have always done with both paper-based accounting and then PC accounting for 50+ years?

Every time I change the data-entry sort order, the next transaction I entered reverses my choice of sorting - back to newest on top..

(Windows 10 Home, 64-bit, updated to current version)

Just noticed this myself. Annoying not to remember preferred sort order when editing.

I've just suddenly had the same issue. The program has worked perfectly until now, but suddenly it keeps defaulting to having the transactions in reverse date order. Is there a way the sort order can be locked please?
