Changing the Name of a Stock w/in a Portfolio

Post by Wirmike »

I have just received advice from a fund manager that a stock WITHIN that fund is changing its name.

I have tried the same process as changing the name of an ordinary Current Account: however this does not seem to work.
The name of the stock IS changed when the stock transaction is opened to view - but when the list of stocks is opened w/in the Navigation pane the original name is displayed unchanged.

Is this a bug - or have I missed something?

Help and advice welcomed!.

Hi,

Please help me understand you.
What is in this sample of the fund name?

PS Seems I understand. In the stock portfolios the fund has a name. When the fund has been created the associated account created as well.
To rename Account in the navigation tree use right click mouse context menu - Edit Account then change the name to onother one.

PSS I don't like this functionality and working on reconstruction.
