Crash on startup after MacOS 10.13.1 upgrade

Post by mindchnger »

Just updated to MacOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and now v1.3.3 keeps crashing on startup. I've installed other versions including 1.3.1 and the newer beta versions, but those all still crash as well. Have any others faced the same issues in the new OS? Any ideas for fixes, or will I just have to wait for a new build that will work with the new OS?

Turning off our network connection allowed us to launch the app without crashing. We then disabled the mmex pref for 'send statistics.'

Currently running MMEX 1.3.3 Db v7 on Mac Sierra 10.13.3.
MMEX crashes on startup, have disconnected both WiFi and "send statistics" with no success. (It has been doing this for some considerable time but if I persevere and reload again I can eventually get it to work)

Because of above I also tried to install MMEX v1.4 Alpha hoping this bug would be fixed but v1.4 also refuses to load after install.
I have tried to get around this by deactivating Mac SIP's capability but this doesn't work either.

Anyone got any idea's !!

I'm running High Sierra 10.13.1 Mac Pro and I should be able to upgrade to High Sierra 10.13.4, but no luck. Still my MMEX crashes on startup, have disconnected both WiFi and "send statistics" with no success

I had the same problem with a brand new iMac running Mojave and this solution worked.

Hi, I have just started using mmex on a Mac laptop OS10.14.5 and have had NO problems with any crashes etc. All functions appears to work fine.
