I tried this but it didn't work. Still says the app is damaged and should be removed in the bin.
Any other suggestions?

Same issue - won't open the newly downloaded 1.3.5 app for Mac running on Mac OS Mojave. Any suggestions?

I also have the same issue, tried downloading latest version 1.3.5 but get the message file is damaged. Have used Time Machine to reload my current version 1.3.3 which runs fine, except it badgers me to upgrade to the broken program. Would appreciate some help.

If you want to stop the checks for updates to version, under the MMEX Menu -> Options and in the Network section there's a flag to unset to stop the checks.

You can always do a manual check for updates from the Help menu periodically to see if a new version has been released.

Does anyone take any notice of these posts? Are these issues being addressed or is the whole mmex programme now just a waste of time?

Only a MMEX developer can answer this question.

By the way: I can understand the frustration, but this freeware is free and you can use it for free, but there is no guarantee that it works on all possible systems. Surely it is different if you paid for the software and the license terms guarantee the functionality.

I fully agree with you, there's still no way to install and use mmex the easy way! And the excuse is, because it's freeware and there's no guarantee!
But after so many years using it.....I think it would be about time, that this problem will be fixed properly! There are polls, asking to vote for mmex as product of the month etc.

I've been struggling with it for months, in order to get it working from installing, synchronisation with all platforms etc. I have it up and running and have posted a few ways to get it done, but there were just a few reactions and that's it!

I just think it's a pitty, that there's nobody yet to get this working smoothly, without all kinds of configurations. It's a great product, but you'll scare away a lot of potential users, if this problem is not fixed.

All the best,

Ben
