Having finally got v1.3.5 running on my MAC (OS 10.15.5), I'm comparing to the v1.3.3. I still run. The visuals of 1.3.5. seem to be blurred compared to v1.3.3. or v1.3.5 on Win64(I also have a PC).
Also, the screen is in permanent dark mode except for the transaction list area or the reports.

Regarding a blurring I have no ideas how to fix.
Try to change in Options icon size.
