Upgraded to 1.3.5 - Lost database - HELP!!!

Running OS X 10.13.6

I just upgraded to 1.3.5. In the install process it asked if I wanted to delete the old app. I said yes.

At first it would start, saying it was damaged and unable to open and needed to be moved to the trash. I found the terminal workaround and applied it. Program now starts, but my database is GONE!

I tried to find the default location of where the database is, but anything I've found so far (~library/application support) doesn't show an entry for MMEX.

I would hate to think I lost over a year of financials.

Any ideas?!
