Recurring Transaction Popups

Post by tosim »

Am running Linux Mint19.2-MATE,64b. Been using MMex since it first came out in windows. Presently running MMex1.33, and 1.4. Every time I open (either one) the program I get this popup between 4 and 7 times in a row. Whiile it is easy enough to just X each one out, it has become a nuisance. How can I stop this from occurring? I'd sure appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you.

I'm assuming you mean the payment popup as that's the only one I have.

The popup is because you've checked the "Request user to make payment" when setting up the recurring transactions.

It'll appear of each payment that has a past date that's outstanding.

You can either uncheck the "Request user to make payment" - but then you'll have to manually go to recurring transactions and Enter the transaction by selecting them (the missed ones are highlighted in red on the home page)

Or, you can also select the 'Grant Automatic Execute' and MMEX will enter the transaction on the correct date - good where there are automatic payments/deposits but no so where payment may changes dates/amounts or be skipped.

If you have both checked then it should push the transaction into the account in the background when you start MMEX.

Are you getting something "A recurring transaction will exceed your account limit."? If so you may have recently changed some account details - in particular did you enter any Credit Limits on the account.

If it's not the above, then I don't know what's changed as I only get dialog on the 'suggested' ones.

Yes, I get the popup "A recurring transaction will exceed your account limit.". However, I made no changes to credit limits.Only changes I ever have to make are for amounts and pay dates(only sometimes are changes needed). I'll live with xing out the popups. Thanks.
