We are glad that you found your way to MMEX.
But a freeware like MMEX doesn't have to do everything that a relatively expensive YNAB can do.
If more users agree with this wish, then the developers will surely add it to their list.

This feature was died in v 1.4.0-alpha.
It is quite difficult to implement.
I recommend using the status "follow-up" to see the transaction as a deferred task.

PS I read "YNAB" book. I recommend it to anyone who hasn't read it.

I also looked at the YNAB.
Unfortunately, is only in English, which is very limiting, MMEX is already much further.
I would classify the two programs like this:
YNAB is a housekeeping book starting from a budget.
MMEX is an accounting with a budget.
