Transactions are empty

Post by reachalex »

As on this morning, when I opened MMEX, I do not see any of my transactions. However, the Account Balance, Reconciled Balance and Diff were showing some values.
So I clicked on Transaction filter and checked the Account name and selected the account I was looking for. All the transactions are now visible.
I have not updated MMEX. Version 1.1.1 is my version that I am using.

Closed and opened MMEX to see if that helped and still same issue.

What seems to be the problem? Please help.

I am also facing the same problem starting today (29 Feb 16), all my transactions for every accounts are empty !!! In fact the data is still there, just that it does not display the transaction items.
I try to uninstall and reinstall the latest ver 1.2.5 (x64) in my WIN8.1 but it does fix the issue.
Running the portable exe file also does not help.

FINALLY, I removed the latest version and installed back the older version 0.9.6.0 (unicode x64), now it works and show the transaction detail.
So now I have to use the old version with less feature :(

Help needed !

Same problem for me, running 1.2.2 on Windows 7 (32bit).

I tried changing the date and time to tomorrow (1 March 2016) and all the transactions became visible.

Behaves like a leap year problem (today is after 28 February and before 1 March, etc) but I'm not competent to investigate further. Perhaps it will work ok again when it really is 1 March.

Ditto same problem, transactions reappear if I filter for last month, or last 3 months or last 12 months but are not visible on "Show All". The leap year must be causing a conflict somewhere. The Android version has no such problem.

I'm running 1.2.5 and it sounds like I'm seeing the same behavior. The totals are correct on the Home Page, but no transactions are visible on any of the account pages.

I gess that is related to the this day 29/02.

I can confirm two things :-

1. Windows version does not show tranactions, Android does.
2. Changining date to 01.03.16 shows the transactions again.

Agree that it is a leap year bug.

Hi,use a filter from the first date of the first transaction to today.
So you can see all the transactions.
This is a bug, I suppose.

try by a filter from the first transaction date to today. It works.
I suppose there is a bug with the system date.
If you change the PC date to the laste day during the wich you insert e transaction, all work

Hello,

Same problem here, tried reinstalling 1.25 but problem remains - no transactions on desktop.
Android version is working ok (tried adding a new movement on desktop client and it did sync alright through dropbox and showed on mobile.

Thats confirmed on this side aswell.
On "View Curent Month" in account view mode if i select "View all transactions" it gets empty. When i select "View Current Month" the transactions are shown again.

Re,
Tried using the same files (portable installed on a key) with SEVEN instead of XP.... Just the same.
Choosing the "current year" option (31 of décember 2016 for instance) works.

I am making do with ‘View Last 12 months’, until the bug isfixed. I applied it to all accounts by going to ‘Options’, ‘View Options’ and
changing ‘Transactions Visible’ to ‘View Last 12 Months’ then clicked ‘Apply’.

It appears to be related to feb 29th.  If you change the date to tommorrow everything seems to work fine.
Even great software has its bugs.

It seems to be related to the leap day we are having.  If you change your system date it seems to work, or if you change your filter to view transactions for anything than view all transactions it seems to work.
