I closed the program before restarting my laptop. Now it will not open properly. The toolbar on top says MMEX - nothing else. no screens open. nothing. this is for a Macbook.
If you can't help with getting it to start, any thoughts on finding the data so i can export it?
thanks for any help.

Re: program won't start/Macbook
Possible solution is to find mmexini.db3 file and delete it.
Re: program won't start/Macbook
I do not have the file you mentioned on my computer.
i gave up and tried to reinstall the program. My data file is intact. When I try to reinstall, I get a message that the file is damaged.
thanks,
janie

The file should be In ~/.mmex
Re: program won't start/Macbook
Hello
I am having the same issue. Cant open Mmex, clicking the icon and nothing happens
Already deleted mmexini.db3 file and still can't open it
Have you tried different solutions?
Thanks
Eduardo

no luck. I backed up and tried again - some message that the file I had just downloaded was damaged and should be moved to the trash. my next thought was to find someone with a computer that could load the software, export my data, and find a different program. If you find something that works, please let me know.

Re: program won't start/Macbook
the database has the extension .mmb
this file must be stored somewhere, please search.
if you have deleted the file .db3 (contains only the parameters of MMEX), you will see a selection if you want to create a new database or open an existing one.
if you open the database (.mmb) it should work again.
if this database is corrupted then other .mmb backup files (xxxxxx.mmb_update_YYYY-MM-DD.mmb) should be available.
change the name from xxxxxx.mmb_update_YYYY-MM-DD.mmb to xxxxxx.mmb, open this file and check if the last bookings are ok.
