Hi one feature I would like would be to be able to search the database for a particular item by the amount paid or received. I think that would be a very useful update.

You have the capability to do what you are asking for already.
Go under the Tools menu and select Transaction Report Filter ... and within the Transactions Report Filter window select the Amount Range and within the two fields that appear put the amount you are searching for in both (minimum and maximum) fields and hit ENTER. So if I were going to search for all instances of the amount $8.14 in the database I would put 8.14 in the two fields. If your database is large the search might take a few seconds.

Or select the Transaction Filter from the filter button as shown...Go under the Tools menu and select Transaction Report Filter...
