Re: mmex 1.3.6-RC.1
I'll look into getting these signed to avoid the workaround.
Re: mmex 1.3.6-RC.1
Right, think I have mastered the code signing and notarization of apps on MacOS now - fingers crossed. There was also a library linkage issue with the previous version.
Can somebody give this a go (It's a universal app for MacOs 11/Big Sur)... It should not require you fiddle with any permission settings.
mmex-1.3.6~rc1-Darwin-signed.dmg
If this works I can look to package up in standard format for this an the 1.3.5 release.

Re: mmex 1.3.6-RC.1
1.3.6-RC.1 Installs fine on MacBook Air 2020 M1 processor running Big Sur 11.1
(no corruption error)
Tested:
*Date format inconsistency:
Setting mmex’s display date under mmex settings to yyyy/mm/dd does not change the format of the transaction entry field to the same. Mmex displays the date entry field as mm/dd/yyyy. (Macbook regional settings set to US with the date field customized to yyyy/mm/dd). Looks like the entry field format could be hardcoded.
**Inconsistent use of currency symbol in reporting:
The Income vs Expenses report Total shows the currency symbol. The transaction lines does not
Ditto for Payees Report
Summary of account shows currency symbol in all transaction lines (both Month and Yearly reports)
Other reports don’t show the currency.
Hope this helps

Tested:
- CSV Import works 100% (I use it a lot)
- Creating new account, new records
- Editing records*
- Deleting records
- Reconciled/Un-reconcile = Account balance value at the top of the view displays the correct calculated value
- Tested reporting (all of the default ones)**
- export to CSV
- Creating/editing/deleting Payees, categories, subcategories
- Changing Currency value from ZAR to US
- Budget setup and edit, copy previous budget to new budget
- Changing mmex system settings*
- Filtering views of transactions based on various criteria

I'll post any update in this forum also. I've uploaded the 1.3.5 and 1.3.6~rc1 releases that are signed & notarized by Apple.
