Reoccurring tasks being delayed and not acted on

Post by CyberAngel »

This seems to only happen every now and then and not on all transactions in the reoccurring list.

I have 2 transactions that occur on a specific date, every month, one is a transaction to send .01 to my interest account and the other is to add a payment for a streaming service.

But every now and then, if I am late on opening up MMEx, and the .01c transaction will happen, but the second will be placed in a 2 day delay state and remain there.

Thoughts?

Can you share the settings for each from the "Edit Recurring Transaction" dialog please.

The one that you say is not working has the next occurrence date in 2023, is this correct?

Interesting you picked that up, as I missed that.

In the list of transactions, it is listed as if it is 2022, and it was entered as the net due date when I set it up last year.

SO does no one know how it ended up in this state in the first place, and how it was still listed between other 2022 reoccurring transactions?

Without a timeline of what actions you can take to reproduce this, it is difficult to be investigate further. Could it have been edited in error?

If you can reproduce the problem we can investigate..

Sadly I have now edited it, but it had been fine for a few years and then all of a sudden it was then hit and miss. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it was late. And when I set it up, I would have had to forwarded the date 2 years in advance to set it up, considering I did not change the date I am unsure how it happened.
