Transaction Report Filter - V1.5.16 has lost vital feature

Post by cliveju »

The feature to "select similar categories" has disappeared in 1.5.16.

Categories in MMEX are at two levels. Up to 1.5.14, If you want to use the higher level of category to include the subcategories, the "select similar" option had to be ticked. This has vanished from the filter in 1.5.16.

If you select the higher level of category in the filter, no matching transactions are found.

I rely on this to produce a monthly analysis of certain spending so this is a big problem for me. I might return to 1.5.14. pending a solution.

Thank you whall3y! That has fixed my problem and I have saved my filter (xxx.*) for next month.

I think that the new features needs some help in place, it's not something that is easily memorised.

I always read release notes but I didn't notice this change.
