I would love to be able to order my accounts in a personal order so that the accounts I use most often are at the top rather than have them ordered alphabetically.

On the back of the “Favourites” facility that MartinArmstrong has suggested, I thought you might like to know what I have tried and have found quite useful.
Quite simply, to apply a Sorting Prefix to the Accounts’ Names that you wish to be at/near the top, using an alpha numeric scheme.
I have found this quite useful and has so far borne the test of time.
The prefixes will be seen in the reports of course, and these could serve as a jog as to where to find them in your Navigation Pane.
Examples, based on my scheme…
Ordered [A-Z] Navigation Pane Accounts List
——————————-———————————————-
####: Home Main A/C
###: Home Jago Credit Card
00##: Bungee Club Functions A/C
01##: Florences College Loan
AA###: Hubbys ISA1
AB##: Hubbys Stocks Cash Aspect
…
You may need to do a little ‘dabbling to achieve the order you would like. The hierarchical order seen in my list is #, Numeric, Alpha.
I also use a series of Zeds (eg., ZZ,ZZZ, ZZ00, ZZ01) at the end of the Navigation Pane accounts list for those accounts that I want to know will be at the bottom. Other Special Characters will fit somewhere before Numeric, so it is a matter of trial and error - perhaps w/- a look at where they fit in the ASCII codes set.
You may not have many accounts that you would wish to prioritise, but the effort may well be worthwhile, and it is reversible, albeit with an understanding that historical /reports prints may or may not include the sorting prefix. Of course, there is the feature request for user defined grouping of accounts yet to be realised.
Make MMEX work for you. In its current state it is really quite configurable and adaptable… w/- more goodies to come.
