So I downloaded Version: 1.5.21 64-bit today.
My transactions are sorted by date. Oldest below and newest above.
Till date New transaction would appear at the top.
After the download today when adding new transactions, the first transaction of the day is at the top and the next transaction below that and so on.

Is this a bug or is this the intended design. I think that is not right.

Can you please try this v1.5.22 Beta build and let me know if the issue is fixed.

That did not resolve the issue. The First transaction of the day stays above and the next transaction below. The sort order is on the date and the older transactions should show below the newer transactions.
Additionally, the balance field looks all weird. The first transaction shows the balance at the beginning of the day and the transactions below show the balance amount as per the transaction if it is a deposit or withdrawal.

This definitely needs fixing.

We have reverted the primary/secondary sort when DATE is selected as it is causing confusion.

I want you to know that I tested the 1.5.22 Beta and the issue is prevalent in this version. So you may want to check before you publish 1.5.22 as stable version.

I downloaded it again today just to make sure and the issue persists.

I downloaded once again and this version has a difference, it shows a label on the application next to View All Transactions button called Sort Order. This was incorrectly set. Once I changed it, it is now working fine.

Great, thanks for confirming. Yes I added the label to now clearly show the sort order. Glad it's all working now.

I'm having the same problem - using the 'latest' stable version. How did you fix it??

It is fixed in the latest Beta if you want to try that, or re-install 1.5.20, or await the 1.6.0 (next version) release.

Why temporary

Till the new version is released. Always a bit wary with beta versions.... However, no issues seen thus far.
