Android version for new DB version?

I principally use MMEX as an Android app and the desktop for limited register reconciliations,.cash flow projections, and some other features. The latest update is great, but it leaves the Android app non-functional due to DB version. I am hoping that it gets some loving and is updated soon, but if not could your desktop installer carry a stronger warning besides "backup your file"? Something akin to "The database file used with this program ARE NOT compatible with the Android app"? I am glad I heeded the warning, but 8t still caused some headaches. Thanks.

Understand your disappointment with the Android version no longer being maintained, unfortunately given the lack of developers I don't have any visibility of this changing.

Point noted about the messaging around this.
