Would like to present here a solution for the various upgrade errors:

Install (Windows) https://download.sqlitebrowser.org/DB.B ... -win64.msi
or (Mac OS) https://download.sqlitebrowser.org/DB.B ... 3.12.2.dmg

Open a copy of the last working .mmb with it
Select the view Database Structure
At the bottom there are probably entries "Views" delete all these entries (right mouse button)
save these changes CTRL+S, close the DB with CTRL+F4

Then you can open this changed DB version and the newest MMEX version.

I've finally got it to work on my new machine after following your fix (BTW the keyboard short cuts don't work), but only by downloading Version 1.6.0 onto my new machine.
I have yet to discover if it will work with V 1.6.2

I am really struggling here, while noting that I am not a technical user and surely not a developer.

I recently had hard drive issues and managed to recover my MMEX database and am trying to run it again. The issue I noted that there is the version line 1.6 now, which did not allow me to open my database. I noted that my database is in the version 1.4, which I cannot find the application for.

I have tried installing version 1.5, opening the database and then running the patch file downgrade_db_13_7_v4.mmdbg. However this does not work and I was provided with the error message "Query error, please contact MMEX support! SQL logic error[1]: no such table: ACCOUNTLIST". I have also tried this approach by using version 1.3. instead of version 1.5 but still got the same error.

I would really appreciate if someone could assist me with an ´easy´ way of being able to open my database and continuing to use it.

Unfortunately, I followed that process as described here https://github.com/moneymanagerex/money ... ssues/2353 by vomikan at the top of the thread but have got the issues I reported.

Is there any way I can get my v 1.4 MMEX Database to continue to be used?

I am feeling lost without it.
