Hi all,
I don't know SQL so it is difficult to handle custom reports.
So I was wondering if it would be possible to add additional category fields in the Transaction Report to allow algebraic sum of free categories.
This could be useful for aggregating income and expenses of different macro categories to have a simple aggregate total.
For example, I have this situation:
1) Category + subcategories = Freelance Expenses (with different sub categories)
2) Category + subcategories = Salaries (with different sub categories > there is my personal salary + my freelance wife's salary + other extra income)
I would like to use the Transaction Report to have the algebraic sum of the total Freelance Expenses (1) minus my freelance wife's salary ONLY (sub category of 2).
What do you think?
