Hungarian translation
Hungarian translation.
Based on language file used in 0.9.9.0 version.
Én még csak próbálgatom a programot. Legyetek szívesek nézzétek meg használatban is, hogy minden klappol-e. Előre is köszönöm.
Meantime I have managed to install 0.9.8.0 Ubuntu-Debian version of MMEX and realised, even if the Hungarian translation (hungarian.po) is correct and full, some menu items are shown in English. The English messages used in the programme seem different from those msgid-s the Hungarian translation is based on.

Re: Hungarian translation
Finally I found a Hungarian language file version (at http://moneymanagerex.svn.sourceforge.n ... k/mmex/po/), which in its state seems more close to what I see opening MMEX 0.9.9.0.
So I ran through it and translated the missing and marked lines. The only problem, that I was not able to convert back to mo, as msgfmt turned back with the following error message:
For Hungarians:
Jó lenne, ha valaki még átfutná fordítást, mert van egy-két értelmezési problémám. Én még csak most kezdeném használni a programot, így egyes kifejezéseket nem biztos, hogy jól értelmeztem. Pl. a korábbi fordítás következetesen alapszámlának fordította a "Term Account"-ot, ami az értelmezésem szerint időszaki és még néhány hasonló.

Thanks Renato! (Grazie tanto!)
It helped. Please find attached the new language file. Even if it seems linguistically more or less correct, but it needs further testing with the programme itself.

Re: Hungarian translation
I think, I am finished with it - at least for a while. All functions were checked and the translation has been corrected.
I renamed the file to "magyar", because in this way at the Tools->Options the language could be selected in Hungarian.
There are some texts (at least one), I was not able to locate where they are used. E.g. "Sign up to Notification Mailing List or View existing announcements." Its seems to be a pop-up note, but it doesn't.
Now I am planning to translate the Help file, but it takes more time.
Find attached the file:
For Hungarians:
Továbbra sem vagyok biztos egy-két kifejezés szakszerű használatában, mint például "időszakos számla" - egy időre, befektetési céllal nyitott számla, amin pénzmozgás is lehetséges. A másik ilyen a "rendszeres számla és betét átutalás", amit a "Bills & Deposit Series"-ből fordítottam. Ha valaki tud jobban jelezze.

Re: Hungarian translation
I am ready with the translation the Help files, and one of the related pictures (mmex-concept.png), as well.
Please find attached the help_hu.zip and magyar.zip. The later one was moderately corrected.

Re: Hungarian translation
Cool. I will include it to curent developing version of mmex. In furure it should be corrected.
Re: Hungarian translation
Now I started to use it and certainly I have already found some minor mistakes and possibly I will find some more. I think by the end of next week I may provide you with a more, or less final version.
I also found an untranslatable part. Not a big deal, but when trying to enter a new account the last two pages of the wizard have Back and Finish button, not listed in the .po file.
Meantime I have prepared the rest of the .png files for the Hungarian help index. Please find the whole help package attached. (The index file is a revised one.)

Re: Hungarian translation
Hello Toroka,
I have downloaded your latest file: magyar.zip extracted and renamed the files to hungarian.po
This I have now uploaded to the Subversion repository.
http://moneymanagerex.svn.sourceforge.n ... 0/mmex/po/
I have also corrected the help files to allow them to work with mmex, and to also display the pictures currently available.
Thankyou for your contributions.

Re: Hungarian translation
Hi Stef145g!
I was afraid, that none is interested in the Hungarian translation, so I have not dealt with it for a month already. If you do not mind I am going to reread it, but by now I have a more than one month experience of using MMEX. (Surely some misspelling could be there. More you read, more mistakes you find.)
Is there any deadline, when you need a last revision?

Re: Hungarian translation
Since there have been a few new translations and a few bugs found in release 0.9.9.0 I am preparing a bug release which will be known as 0.9.9.1, but at this stage, no final date has been set, so there is no rush for this to get done.
Please note, the help files are also available from http://moneymanagerex.svn.sourceforge.n ... /doc/help/
For MMEX to be able to identify the correct language, the directory for the language will contain all the files for that language. The file names will remain the same as the english version in the ./help directory. As for the pictures, the .html files will need to know the correct directory. This is done by locating the string: scr= and adding ../ at the begining of the picture filename for the default english picture.

I'll do my best and next week I'll hopefully read and correct the whole stuff.

Re: Hungarian translation
As promised, please fined attached the revised version of Hungarian language and help files.
I would suggest to change the English help Index file, in order to make available the Hungarian help too.
When rereading the po file, I found two wrong English sentences too. In Poedit they were at line 3451 ("all you are sure you...") and 3536. Would you please check it!

Please find attached the Hungarian language files revised for MMEX 0.9.9.2
However, when starting MMEX 0992 with the new file I met two button names (New and Edit), which were not translated and I was not able to find out to change those into Hungarian (Új and Szerkeszt). Rhey are at the bottom of account page.
The same problem with the title bar of accounts, Date and Payee can not be changed to Hungarian (Dátum, Kedvezményezett)

Please find attached the Hungarian language files revised for MMEX 1.1 edition.
However, in order to avoid error message when saving the translation, I had to delete the "c-fomat" lines after the following two lines:

Re: Hungarian translation
Hi, thanks for translation.
I've updated file and now it has some untranslated strings.
PS to renove errors just open po file as text in app like notepad for windows and delete #fuzzy lines

Re: Hungarian translation
By chance, I have checked MMEX homepage for new version and found 1.2.0 Alpha.
I did the Hungarian translation - see attached - but I can not check, how it works with the programme, However I copied the new language file to its place, when I open the programme I see some newly changed entries in English like Toggle Fullscree / F11 etc. in the menu.
Did I forget to change something and the replacement of hungarian.po with the new one is not enough?
Best regards,
Árpád

I asked, if I did anything wrong and that is why some menu items are English after replacing hungarian.po with the newly translated one in 1.2.0.
