I'm a first time user having just installed version 1.6.2 (64 bit) on Windows 11
I've gone to the user manual and in section 8 (working with currencies) it indicates that you should be able to add a new currency by using the 'add' button in the currency dialog box (Tools/Organize Currency)
Link to section 8 - https://moneymanagerex.org/moneymanager ... l#section8
However, I'm only able to see a combined 'Add/Update' button under the Currency History Options box which can only be used to add/update exchange rates for an existing currency (see attachment)
Am I doing something wrong here? If not is someone able to advise the latest version that had this option available?
If this is a "bug" should this be reported in a separate forum post under General/Development?

Re: Unable to add a NEW currency
Actually, all currencies should be available.
What currency felt them.
(Unfortunately, the manual has not been updated).

Re: Unable to add a NEW currency
Which version are you running?
When I do the same search nothing appears (see attachment) - The currency does NOT also appear if I shorten the search to 'za' or 'z'
If you are running v1.6.2 Windows (64 bit) I'll try uninstalling and reinstalling otherwise I'll try an older build

Re: Unable to add a NEW currency
Apparently there is a bug here, have tested with different databases and get different results.
Also when I open a new DB with version 1.5.0 this currency is missing.
by the way: my DB is from 2009 + updates

.
In order for you to continue working, I would suggest changing a currency you do not need to ZMW Zambian Kwacha.

Re: Unable to add a NEW currency
Right clicking on a currency brought up the 'add' option which has allowed me to manually add the currency and I have also been able to pull in the historical exchange rates for it.
