Help latest version

After updating to the latest version I somehow lost all previous info which is what usually happens every time I update to a newer version. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Anyway I've had to start again recreating all my accounts but it looks different to the previous version. The left hand navigation page is OK but the right is completely different. How can I get it to look the same as it used to & also show the individual account balances without opening up each individual account as it used to.
