Hi. This SW looks great thank you, but one key feature I can't get working. I imported a few trans from QIF and assigned the Payees to Categories. When I import more transactions, the records for unknown Payees shows with Category "unknown" (OK), but the ones the should be known based on Payee, have no value in the Category column, ie: blank. So its must recognise them (as unlike the rest they are not unknown), but doesn't seem to assign the actual known value. What am I missing? Is this a newbie mistake or known issue? Thanks.

Would appreciate any tips... even just whether this should work (and does for you)? Can you auto-assign trans categories at time of Import, based on a previous Payees to Category assignment (in the Payees dialog). Thanks.

Category may be assigned to payee. If you enter new transaction and choose payee then proper category will be assigned.
But import is using information from file.
If payee is missing it name became 'Unknown'.
