Detailed reports

I would like to be able to print a detailed report of all the transactions that make up certain income and expenses accounts but I haven't found where this type of report exists. In the home page there is a report "Expenses-detail" listed under expenses, but it does not work. When selected it gives an error.
Is there something I am missing that will generate a detailed report of all the transactions in each of the income and expense accounts for a specified period?
