Ubuntu installation for a beginner

I moved recently from Win to Ubuntu Mate and I'd like to use Mmex in native mode. Now I'm running the win version with wine, but it is unsatisfactory.
I'm a rookie in Linux and trying to install Mmex in Ubuntu I'm having troubles with compilations and similar.
I like an easy life and my question is: does it exist a ready package .deb (or .rpm) for the 1.3.3 version? I found ( .deb packages for the alpha 1.4, but I didn't find it for the 1.3.3, the release I'm using now on my devices (mac, android, pc).
Thanks a lot.
(Sorry for my english: I prefer italian)
