Having just read the post by @Janvenken, I have decided to put this out a little earlier than planned.
MMEX:1.8; It just keeps on getting better! (In my view).
The existing Transaction Colour feature is proving rather useful.
I use this to highlight a small range of, but specific types of transaction.
However, I feel that a much greater use will need some care: the existing palette can (sometimes) be a little distracting, from its intended purpose, in being quite vivid, especially the RED!
I wonder if there are some ways to tone-down this vivacity.
My suggestion is that there could be a separate set of PASTEL colours, which by their nature are gentler on the eyes. The gentler tone used for Tags is an example.
Or, perhaps, a “brightness control”? Even both!?
However, I do not know what the implications would be on coding such a feature.
Used in conjunction w/Tags, the use of colour can be quite visually helpful.
Comments?
ps. @Janvenken’s idea is a pretty neat one - I hadn’t thought along that line. It has real possibilities - I think. Cheers!
