[SOLVED] budget creation

Post by judoal »

I am having difficulties setting up a budget. Selecting tools->budget planner brings the budget editor. I add a year, 2025, for which I've added a couple dozen transactions. After selecting the year, I get lost. The budget entry details does not appear. I don't know how to proceed and clicking on 'ok' closes the window.

It would be an advantage if you could let us know which operating system and which MMEX version you are working with.

I assume that you are using the MacBook version for the budget.
Double-click on an amount field to open the input mask.
Have you selected the correct view for the categories:

Perhaps I wasn't clear in my request. I am using the version (1.8.1) for the macbook (otherwise it wouldn't run) as I previously posted. Under tools in the menu bar I selected 'budget planner'. The window that popped up was the 'budget editor' and I added a year and selected it. But that's where I get stuck. I don't understand the instructions you posted. What is supposed to happen when I select the year?

The screenshot is where I get stuck. I select the year as described in the documentation but nothing happens.
