In the latest 1.7.0 Beta build of MMX Desktop, the License tab on the About screen shows the following copyright holders:

There is no mention of 2023. Is this an issue? Do I need to raise a bug report?

Is it determined by a person's contribution to and participation in the MMX project?

@luisdev : I think this is related to code contribution.
You may see a very tiny bit of contribution from my side here and there, but since I never contributed code,
I am not mentioned in the copyrights, which is correct imho.
