Re: Dutch translation
I've updated the dutch translation files of mmex. Technically seen it's belgian dutch, but in reality that's practically the same as standard dutch (especially when written). I will provide further updates, if possible, because this translation is still not entirely done.

Re: Dutch translation
Since there are slight differences in the language between Belgium (dutch_be) and the Netherlands (Dutch) and most important since both files are far from complete I took some time to create a new DUTCH.MO file. Hopefully noone is offended by the fact that I post this. If others like to do the translation, no problem, than I won't post my updates and leave it to someone else.
But for now, attached you will find a new languague file for the Netherlands: Dutch.mo - This is for the upcoming 0.9.9.0 version
Following, some text for the Dutch users;

Re: Dutch translation
I am from the Netherlands and since the Dutch_BE file contains differences that are language specific I leave updating that file to others. It would be nice if Wimvhs (who did it oct. last year) would update it.

Re: Dutch translation
I know that development is working on a new (update) version, if there are no new lines to translate you can use this file for the Dutch users. I have found several inconsistencies and made some other corrections as well.
If the new version needs new translations, than a new file will follow soon after the program or new language file(s) are released.
For other users, mainly Dutch users, this file can be used from 0.9.9.0 onwards. Maybe older versions also work well, but I have not checked that.

Re: Dutch translation
I've completed and updated the Flemish (Belgian Dutch) translation to MMEX version 0.9.9.0. The translation is kept as clear and consistent as possible. I would suggest that someone substitutes the Flemish expressions with Dutch ones or keeps optimizing PeCe's version. And if you know how to get this into the mainstream releases, please do so...
De term 'begunstigde' heb ik vervangen door 'partij', gezien begunstigde feitelijk enkel gerelateerd is met credittransacties. 'Credit' en 'debet' zijn overigens vervangen door 'uitgave' en 'inkomst', ik geloof dat de meeste mensen daar meer mee vertrouwd zijn.

Re: Dutch translation
Lately no changes needed to be made, but as soon as it is needed I will update the Dutch file, no problem.
Debit/Credit was not present anymore in the Dutch file.
"Begunstigde" is still there, I see this term also in other programs and find it for Dutch (for now) the best translation.
Although I have to admit, that "partij" also is a good translation.

Re: Dutch translation
Some minor updates and corrections have been made, so the newest files are attached.
Hopefully they also will be added to the new release.
As soon as translations specific for 0.9.9.2 can be made they will be added.

Re: Dutch translation
Attached you find an updated file for the Dutch language.
I used the POT file from trunk/mmex/po, which I assume is from 0.9.9.2 sub.3560
When a new version of MMEX is released, or better said, when I see a new POT file or new Dutch PO file with a higher number I will update it again.
PS: Would be nice if the name of the translator would be changed, I think I have posted more updates than Theo.
Also Theo hasn't visited this board since 2010, but is still mentioned as translator.

Re: Dutch translation
MMEX well translated? How do you mean, up-to-date ?
If I look at the https://translations.launchpad.net/mmex site, I see 197 lines untranslated and 103 need to be reviewed.
As I see it this is because of ongoing development and that's why I updated my file and posted this a few days ago.
Default I use the PO files that I can download, but found out that these are not always up-to-date. With the POT-file I can update the last PO file with changes, works great.

Continue from previous post
..
By the way, the http://www.codelathe.com/mmex/wiki/doku ... anslations page contains an invalid link. The http://moneymanagerex.svn.sourceforge.n ... 0/mmex/po/ page can not be found.
ALSO on the translations information there is a reference on how to use the POT file, so that is why I used it to check/update my PO file.
filler to get to 444 characters

Re: Dutch translation
First of all this files updated for development version:
http://sourceforge.net/p/moneymanagerex/code
choose trunk - mmex - po
About a month before the release will be announced, it's time to complete the translation.
Changes to the code will be stopped on the subsequent period.
Anyway, good job! Thanks. I've updated the repository with your translation.
Some new strings added please check.
