Just noticed you were still on v2024.12.31 (1057). Can you try the latest version?

I'm running the latest version. Upgraded after screenshots. Problem remains.
Considering going back to 1057. It was a good one...

Updated some stuff on desktop, synched and opened the mobile app (ver 1067) to check if changes were there.
When I hit "Synchronize", I get 2 errors "could not find provider" (no gdrive instance) and "cursor null or empty" (no db instance).

I can't see how my desktop could generate a lack of gdrive instance or db instance on my android device...
Anything I'm missing here?

It might be due to networking issues if errors "could not find provider" and "cursor null or empty" just appear randomly and rarely.

Just to double-confirm
1. what's your Android App and OS version?
2. can you see the mmb file with the Files app on your phone?

The issue can't be due to network issue because it never worked.
This thread is a child of another one: "Can't open or create db after upgrade", so it's a symptom of the same problem.
Running Android 10, on a moto hyper one.
This phone is not rooted, so I can't access this section of the filesystem (as it should be).

Did you open the Files app on your phone and explore your database location, it seems in Google Drive's Document folder.
NO ROOT here and can you follow https://moneymanagerex.org/blog/mmex-cl ... nextcloud/ if needed?

The last reply in the thread Unable to open or create db after update 2025.01.03 has an indicator that built-in/native Files app is required.

Ok. My phone didn't came with a built in file manager.
I had to install one to browse the file system.

Based on your statement, I guess MMEX will never work with my phone... no matter what cloud stuff I pick.
In this case, I suggest indicating it as a requirement for the app and avoid frustrations.

Attached, you hv gdrive screenshots of file and its activity, with updates fm my desktop.

I think that's it for me. Need something that just works.
