PMaff has offered you a possible solution. Have you downloaded this version and tried it out?
I compiled the latest RC :
https://mega.nz/file/PUFCVb4Q#6h7eZbvnM ... FPkwLCjjzM

Looks like the link has an error. Clicking it say I need an encryption key. Hovering over the link shows just to the M before the dots.

Edit: found his link and got it. Trying it out now.

Didn't work on MXLinux 25 (based on Debian 13)

Code: Select all

Solving dependencies... Error!
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Unsatisfied dependencies:
 mmex : Depends: libgspell-1-2 (>= 1.8.2) but it is not installable
        Depends: libjpeg8 (>= 8c) but it is not installable
Error: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
Error: The following information from --solver 3.0 may provide additional context:
   Unable to satisfy dependencies. Reached two conflicting decisions:
   1. mmex:amd64=1.9.2-RC.1-Linuxmint.22.2.zara is selected for install
   2. mmex:amd64 Depends libgspell-1-2 (>= 1.8.2)
      but none of the choices are installable:
      [no choices]

@willajabir

I'm not surprised that MMEX compiled on LinuxMint doesn't work completely on MXLinux.
There are differences in the libraries.
Does MMEX crash when you open an account from the dashboard?
If so, this is a problem that has already been discussed here: widget problem 3.3.1.
You need to open an account in the account tree on the left, not in the dashboard.

I work with LinuxMint, but the version based on Debian Trixie (13): LMDE.
MMEX compiled on LMDE works very well on MXLinux. I just did a test.
Try this version: https://kdrive.infomaniak.com/app/share ... 5fa7b9fada

Perfect!!! Thank you. After reading dozens of threads, I've not seen that solution.
Works perfectly.

As @alfred07380 wrote: this is a version for LinuxMINT.
Strange that the link did not work.
Edit: seems to be a problem, how I posted the link, sorry.
This made a "... FPkwLCjjzM" at the end and this cannot work.

I repost it here:
mmex_1.9.2-RC.1-Linuxmint.22.2.zara_amd64.deb 19.8 MB
