I only use MMEX to keep track of how much is in my credit card account & for looking at future repeating payments and the daily cash flow.

Is there any easy way to start a new Database each year and keep the list of payees, categories, reoccurring transactions?

If so how would this be done?

Why not take a copy of the existing .mmb file, and call it something like mydb2020.mmb.

Then go to you original .mmb file and delete all the transactions in the account and start from there?

Or am I missing something - seems far safer than playing about the SQL on the DB.
