Search on Notes in Transaction Report

Hi, I have just upgraded from 1.3.3 to 1.3.6 DB7 running Windows 10.
I use the Notes field in each transaction to state a search word like Food. In this way I can get a transaction report of all transactions with that word or phrase in the notes field.
I have tried to do this in the latest version but no transactions are listed.
Please can any one help or give instructions to go back to version 1.3.3.
