Re: Dutch translation
Lately no changes needed to be made, but as soon as it is needed I will update the Dutch file, no problem.
Debit/Credit was not present anymore in the Dutch file.
"Begunstigde" is still there, I see this term also in other programs and find it for Dutch (for now) the best translation.
Although I have to admit, that "partij" also is a good translation.

Re: Dutch translation
Some minor updates and corrections have been made, so the newest files are attached.
Hopefully they also will be added to the new release.
As soon as translations specific for 0.9.9.2 can be made they will be added.

Re: Dutch translation
Attached you find an updated file for the Dutch language.
I used the POT file from trunk/mmex/po, which I assume is from 0.9.9.2 sub.3560
When a new version of MMEX is released, or better said, when I see a new POT file or new Dutch PO file with a higher number I will update it again.
PS: Would be nice if the name of the translator would be changed, I think I have posted more updates than Theo.
Also Theo hasn't visited this board since 2010, but is still mentioned as translator.

Re: Dutch translation
mmex was well translated to Dutch
https://translations.launchpad.net/mmex
You can continue to translate only missing phrases.

Re: Dutch translation
MMEX well translated? How do you mean, up-to-date ?
If I look at the https://translations.launchpad.net/mmex site, I see 197 lines untranslated and 103 need to be reviewed.
As I see it this is because of ongoing development and that's why I updated my file and posted this a few days ago.
Default I use the PO files that I can download, but found out that these are not always up-to-date. With the POT-file I can update the last PO file with changes, works great.

Continue from previous post
..
By the way, the http://www.codelathe.com/mmex/wiki/doku ... anslations page contains an invalid link. The http://moneymanagerex.svn.sourceforge.n ... 0/mmex/po/ page can not be found.
ALSO on the translations information there is a reference on how to use the POT file, so that is why I used it to check/update my PO file.
filler to get to 444 characters

Re: Dutch translation
First of all this files updated for development version:
http://sourceforge.net/p/moneymanagerex/code
choose trunk - mmex - po
About a month before the release will be announced, it's time to complete the translation.
Changes to the code will be stopped on the subsequent period.
Anyway, good job! Thanks. I've updated the repository with your translation.
Some new strings added please check.

Re: Dutch translation
Downloaded and updated to 1.0 svn 5584
PS: I still see the wrong name as the translator for the Dutch language (in the program and on the website), when is that changed?
greetings
Peter

Re: Dutch translation
Thanks for "finally" adding my name to the translaters. After I saw that I have updated the file again.
Attached you find the newest Dutch language file for version 1.1.0
As usual the zip-file contains the PO and MO files.
Greetings
Peter

Re: Dutch translation
Rechecked this newer version and also did some changes to inconsistent Dutch translations.
Also two remarks on the English texts;
- trew view
I guess this is tree view, trew is for me (and some translation programs) an unknown word.
- followup and follow up
Shouldn't they both be changed to follow-up, followup is unknown for the translation programs.

Re: Dutch translation
Updated the Dutch file for 1.1.1 from the source code POT file from Github per 3-11-2014
So even new lines for upcomming changes (as I guess) that have been added have been translated in this file.
Dutch:
De Dutch.po en Dutch.mo bestanden zijn bijgewerkt voor versie 1.1.1 en ook zijn nieuwe wijzigingen (per 3-11) van Github (voor komende updates) al vertaald,

Re: Dutch translation
This is a translation for the DUTCH.po/mo language-file.
The Dutch_be version is from the user wimvhs; see post http://forum.moneymanagerex.org/viewtop ... 5627#p5627
Posted/updated in 2011 and 2012
I used the initial version of the user tkamphuis posted in 2010, that wasn't updated for two years. I have updated the dutch.po/mo in 2012 and maintained the file since then.

Re: Dutch translation
To bad to see that my translation is no longer included in the newer releases (1.1.2)
So I guess I can stop translating and leave things over to others.

Re: Dutch translation
I updated the translations because there are some errors in it. I find it very annoying to see these errors when using this program every day. Grammar errors, spacing errors and un-translated strings are all corrected.
'Assets' is translated to 'bezittingen' but I think 'Activa' translates better.
Nu staat er steeds: Bezitting toevoegen, Naam bezitting wijzigen...dat ziet er gek uit. Activa wordt altijd gebruikt in financiële boeken. Lijkt me beter om het daarin te veranderen?
Also, I have a question (before changing all the strings):'Assets' is translated to 'bezittingen' but I think 'Activa' translates better.
